Dwayne Wade Fresh Out of Migraine, Ready for Playoff

Dwayne Wade of Miami Heat dusted off the cobwebs of a migraine and took part in some of Miami Heat’s shoot-around on Monday morning. He is then anticipated to wear tinted shades so he can make it to Game 2 of his team’s series against the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night. Wade missed shooting hoops Sunday which is in fact this season’s second time he’s been knocked out with migraine symptoms. Blame it to light sensitivity, which is an issue which usually lingers for Wade.

After he missed one more game and several days of practice thanks a lot for nothing to a migraine in January, Wade began to sport tinted glasses but still scored 34 points in a game held at Madison Square Garden.

"He just did some light shooting but he is feeling significantly better," Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said. "He was wearing shades, the guys were calling him 'Blade.' Hopefully he'll be ready to go." The game plan for Wade is to engage in an on-court workout on Monday afternoon in order to test cold water before a final decision on his capability is come up. Well, that’s quite good news so don’t forget to watch 2011 NBA Playoffs online for the much-needed updates that you want, every day!

“It was very encouraging for him to be at shooting hoops session, we all want to be as close to full strength as possible. To see D-Wade back on the court was great to see.”

Ad of course, the 76ers expect Wade to be on the court and coach Doug Collins even had some comic relief on hand for the news that the 2006 NBA Finals MVP was back at practice.

"I have a set of cymbals that every time he runs by the bench, I'm slashing them," Collins said. "And I went out and bought the brightest flashlight I could find, and every time I get eye contact I'm shooting it at him. He's going to be great. He always is. He's a lot like [Michael Jordan]. I think his mental capacity to fight through these things is off the charts and we expect him to be terrific."
