Atlanta Hawks Staggered Orlando Magic in Game 1 with Scores 103-93

It’s just the first game of the 2011 NBA Playoffs but the game was already extreme and wild. The first game ended, handing over the victory to Atlanta Hawks.
Joe Johnson scored a staggering 25 points and Jamal Crawford finished the game with 23 points, making Atlanta Hawks go home victorious against Orlando Magic in Game 1 with a score of 103-93. The first game happened last Saturday, April 16, the opening game for the 2011 NBA Playoffs. In last year’s NBA playoffs, Atlanta was eliminated by Orlando in the most lopsided four-game sweep in NBA history. Looks like Atlanta really seek for revenge and wanted to beat the Magics desperately. It was so surprising that the Hawks led by as many as 18 points while running multiple bodies at Howard all night, and the rest of the Magic failed to step up. Dwight Howard was able to tie a career high with 46 points and an amazing 19 rebounds, add it to Jameer Nelson who had 27 points, but aside from two of them, no other Orlando player have reached double figures.
All throughout, the Hawks were in control of the game after stumbling into the playoffs with a six-game losing streak. They carried a short lead of 85-71 in the final period but they were caught with a break when Howard was whistled for his fifth foul with still 10:58 remaining time to play.
Meanwhile, the Game 2 is scheduled on Tuesday night in Orlando so you’d better watch NBA Playoffs 2011 online for you to get updated.
